The Embr Wave 2 is a temperature control smart wristband which cools and warms the body at the touch of a button. This stylish wristband comes in rose gold or black and is clinically proven for relief of hot flushes, night sweats, restless sleep, stress and focus.
I trust the ResMed brand, I have been using my ResMed CPAP machines and ResMed travel bags for years, so I decided to put the Embr Wave 2 to the test and here is what I found.
Review of the Embr Wave 2
Opening the box, I found a black Embr Wave 2 wristband, magnetic charger with USB cable and Quick Start Guide.
The face of the Embr Wave 2 is similar to a smart watch in looks. It features an attractive stainless-steel Milanese loop wristband with a magnetic clasp.
The Embr Wave 2 wristband is designed in a sleek black finish and stretched wide to fit over my hand. The magnetic clasp is sturdy and felt secure once on my arm. I was impressed by the span of the band knowing that it will fit a broad range of wrist sizes.

How to Use the Embr Wave 2
The Embr Wave 2 or Wave as it is known for short, sits on the underside of the wrist, 2.54cm (1 inch) from the palm of the hand.
There are two buttons, one blank for hot and one dotted for cold. When using hot mode, the light will flash red and the cold mode light will flash green.

When using the Wave in conjunction with the Embr Wave 2 App you will have access to cooling and warming temperatures starting from 1 and intensifying to 9 at its maximum.
My body usually fluctuates between hot and cold which disrupts my sleep and keeps me awake at night. One minute my face will be sweating, and my hair damp after a hot flush, the next I am bundled up in the blankets trying to get warm. Using the Embr Wave 2 on both hot and cold modes is beneficial to me.

Embr Wave 2 Warm Temperature
Turning on the hot button, I was startled by how instant and intense the heat sensation was upon my skin. Although I was surprised by the temperature, I did not find the heat uncomfortable.
The heat radiated in waves from my wrist to the elbow. Although it was a cold winter day in Australia it did not take long before I started to feel warmth within my body.
At night I put the Wave to the test, and I was happy to find myself warming up quickly after the chill of a hot flush. I was impressed because I had read that it may take a few weeks to get the full benefits of the Embr Wave 2.
Embr Wave 2 Cold Temperature
Pushing the cold button I immediately felt icy cold waves spread out from my wrist. This time I was prepared, and I was fine with the strength of the cold on my skin.
After using the Wave on cold mode for half an hour, I felt a cooling sensation across my shoulders and up the base of my neck.
I tried both hot and cold settings at full temperature. Both hot and cold modes can be decreased if you find the high temperatures are too powerful.
Although it is early days, I did feel the initial benefits of the Wave. Keep in mind that for some it may take several weeks to reap the full advantages of the Embr Wave 2.
