The Asian country of Cambodia is a favourite travel destination for tourists the world over. Bordering Thailand, Vietnam and Laos Cambodia it’s within easy reach from many of Asia’s major airports. It’s long history and world renowned historical sites attract visitors from around the globe.
The capital of Cambodia is Phnom Penh and no visit would be complete without taking a tour of the notorious Killing Fields and S21 Prison to gain a true perspective of Cambodia’s tragic past.
The currency of Cambodia is the Cambodia Riel but US dollars are widely accepted in the major cities, and for anyone visiting this is the currency we recommend taking. You will often receive change in the local currency, and it’s recommended that you exchange Cambodia Riel to US dollars before exiting the country as it can be difficult to exchange Cambodian Riel outside of Cambodia.
